A full set of 8 CANON FD ASPHERICAL TLS lenses from the 1970s, rehoused by TLS in exactly the same housings they built for the Canon K35s. TLS (True Lens Services) replaces the original 8-blade irises with new 16-blade irises, so the bokeh not only stays circular when stopped down but also helps this set of 8 Canon FD TLS lenses match the Canon K35 even more closely.
The Canon FD-X lens set (the X stands for eXtended) is a series of high-speed Canon FD lenses. Since only the 24mm, 55mm and 85mm were available in high-speed aspherical versions, TLS developed two more lenses to fill the gaps: the 18mm T1.5 and the 35mm T1.6.
These lenses deliver a warm image, with soft micro-contrast and distinctive flares, ideal for projects seeking a nostalgic or analogue look without giving up modern mechanical precision. Their organic rendering and natural skin tones make them a popular choice among cinematographers who want to bring personality and texture to the image.
