The Angénieux Type EZ2 15–40mm T2.0 S35 is a high-end cinema zoom that delivers Angénieux's legendary optical quality and distinctive visual character in a compact, versatile package. Designed specifically for Super 35 sensors, it covers a very useful focal range for wide shots and dynamic takes, with a constant T2.0 aperture throughout. The EZ2 combines sharpness, softness and balanced contrast, delivering images with the warm, natural colour typical of the Angénieux look. Its parfocal design keeps focus while zooming, and its minimal breathing makes it perfect for smooth, professional camera moves. Built on a modular design, the EZ2 can be adapted to different camera systems with interchangeable mounts (PL / EF) and can be upgraded to cover Full Frame sensors with an optional optical block. It is an ideal tool for film, commercial and documentary productions that want performance and visual personality.
