The Tilta Matte Box MB-T12 is a professional, versatile matte box designed to give full control over reflections, flare and incoming light in demanding shooting environments. Its modular, lightweight design lets you use it either clip-on, mounted directly on the lens, or on 15 mm rods, adapting easily to different cameras and lenses.
Built from aluminium and carbon fibre, the MB-T12 is strong yet light, ideal for gimbal, Steadicam or lightweight rig setups. It takes up to three 4×5.65” or 4×4” filters, two of them with independent 360° rotation, perfect for combining polarisers or graduated NDs with maximum precision.
The matte box includes adjustable top and side flags to block unwanted reflections, plus interchangeable donuts that ensure an optimal seal between lens and matte box. Its modular structure lets you remove or add components easily without tools, streamlining the workflow on set.
