The SmallRig Heavy Duty Tripod is a rugged, versatile professional tripod designed to offer stability, durability and reliable support for cinema, video or large-format stills cameras. Made from high-strength aluminium, it combines lightness and structural rigidity, ideal for commercial, drama or music video shoots that need a solid, secure setup.
Its integrated fluid head (depending on version), or compatibility with standard 75 mm / 100 mm bases, allows smooth, precise pan and tilt moves, while the quick leg locks make fast height adjustments easy during the shoot. The SmallRig Heavy Duty carries 8–12 kg, staying stable even with full camera setups (matte box, follow focus, monitors or V-Mount batteries).
It includes a ground spreader for extra stability and a padded carry bag, and has non-slip rubber feet for a firm grip on all kinds of surfaces. Its compact design and reliability make it an excellent choice for professional or independent productions looking for solid performance at a competitive price.
