The Amaran COB 60x S is an ultra-compact bi-colour LED light from the COB S series, designed for content creators, interviews, commercials or light shoots that need high colour quality in a very small package. With 65 W of power and a colour temperature range of 2700 K to 6500 K, the 60x S adapts to any lighting environment while keeping outstanding colour rendering (CRI 96+, TLCI 97+). This model uses a new dual-blue LED chipset that improves spectral continuity, reaching SSI values of 87+ in daylight and 90+ in tungsten, along with TM-30 Rf 96 / Rg 100 for very natural skin tones. The driver is built into the head — no external ballast needed — and it has quiet active cooling, ideal for recording with live sound. It is controlled via the physical dial on the head or wirelessly through the Sidus Link app (Bluetooth), letting you adjust intensity (flicker-free 0–100%), colour temperature and trigger up to 9 lighting effects (lightning, fire, TV, strobe, etc.). Its full-size Bowens mount makes it compatible with the entire range of Amaran/Aputure modifiers (Light Dome, Octa Dome, Light Box 45×45, Fresnel, etc.), and its flexible power options accept AC, V-Mount battery or NP-F plates, making it very versatile for shooting anywhere.
