The Proaim Spinhawk Professional 360º is a specialised camera head designed for full rotation around the optical axis, achieving the characteristic barrel roll effect with precision and control. It is designed for film, commercial and music video productions looking for dynamic camera moves and unconventional perspectives.
Its high-strength CNC aluminium structure takes professional camera setups of up to 40 kg and is compatible with rigs such as the ARRI Alexa Mini LF, Alexa LF, RED, Sony Venice and other large-format cinema cameras. The camera sits inside the structure and can be balanced for smooth, controlled 360º rotations.
The Spinhawk has an operating crank for manual control of the speed and position of the roll, giving the operator direct control over the movement. It can also be combined with a fluid head to add pan and tilt while rolling, greatly expanding the creative possibilities on set.
