The YC Onion Slider is a compact, high-precision professional slider designed to deliver smooth, quiet and controlled camera moves on film, commercial, documentary or music video productions. Made from aircraft-grade aluminium, it combines ruggedness and lightness, ideal for both studio and location shoots.
Its linear bearing system uses high-quality bearings for minimal friction and fluid movement, even with mid-size cinema cameras (such as the Sony FX3, Blackmagic Pocket 6K or RED Komodo). Depending on the model, the slider can be used manually or motorised, allowing programmed, precise moves in speed, distance or repetition, perfect for product shots or controlled camera effects.
The YC Onion Slider has adjustable feet, a carriage lock, 1/4” and 3/8” threads and is compatible with tripods or camera rigs. Its compact design makes transport easy without sacrificing stability, making it a versatile tool for creators who want cinematic movement with lightweight setups.
